A Leader in Classroom Technology

Montevideo Public School District 129 is proud to be a leader in providing cutting edge educational technology in all of our school buildings.  All of our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, digital projectors, and digital audio enhancement technology.  In addition, each grade k-3 classroom is equipped with 8 Google Android tablets.  Grades 4-7 are provided with classroom sets of Chromebooks on mobile carts, and all 8-12 students are assigned their own individual Chromebook.  These mobile devices are able to access the internet in every classroom across our district using the latest wireless technology.  Perhaps most importantly, our teachers are continuously provided ongoing learning opportunities and training to further enhance their use of technology with our students.

The entire board approved Chromebook Policy can be viewed by clicking here (English), or here (Spanish).
